RSS Feed Events to help you grow your audience

Another RSS Feed extension has just been released: RSS Feed for Events.

With this latest extension, you can optimize access to your event calendar by making it available on external platforms.

RSS feeds are a valuable tool for content distribution, allowing you to reach a wider audience beyond your app or website. By generating content feeds for different sections of your app using tools like Dallas Passport’s M-CMS, you can effortlessly distribute your content on external platforms of your choice. This not only broadens your audience but also simplifies the management of multisite publications.
It allows you to optimize your time and resources by automatically updating and publishing your events on all selected platforms. This eliminates the need for manual submissions and frees up time for more critical tasks.
By utilizing this RSS feed Events, you can adapt your publication strategies by integrating your agenda into external platforms such as blogs or negotiating a presence on related websites. This strategic positioning enhances your visibility and helps attract a broader audience.

How to use the RSS Feed events extension in your Dallas Passport app?

For the Events section of your app, two types of feeds can be generated, one in the traditional RSS format, and the other in the widely used ical format. In addition to being available on your app, your agenda created via the Dallas Passport back office will also be accessible everywhere on the Web thanks to the corresponding feeds created. You will thus increase the visibility of your events, and manage your multisite publications in the blink of an eye.
  • In your app back office, from the Extensions Store, search the RSS feed Events extension and click on “Install”. This will automatically create a new menu “My RSS feeds”. In this new menu, you will manage all the syndication feeds generated for your app’s M-CMS sections.
  • You can choose the entire events section for example, or only select some of them ( toggle the status switch).
  • You can now integrate your RSS feed Events into your own external platforms.
